Sunrise The Gift World

Our shop, Sunrise The Gift World, is located at 12/9 on the ground floor of Padam Singh Road in the WEA part of Karol Bagh. If you’ve ever been to Karol Bagh, you know it’s one of the most crowded places in Delhi. There’s always someone shouting, cars honking, and the smell of street food everywhere. We’re right in the middle of all that chaos. Inside, the shop is packed with everything you can think of—soft toys, photo frames, birthday cards, and all those little knick-knacks people give as presents. We have to be careful how we walk because there are boxes everywhere. We spend a lot of our time wrapping things in colorful paper and trying to find enough space on the shelves for new items. Padam Singh Road is famous for shopping, so we get a lot of people just wandering in to see what we have. It’s not a big corporate store; it’s just a local business where we know a lot of the regular customers by name. Some days it’s so busy we barely have time to eat lunch, and other days it’s a bit slower and we just spend the time tidying up the aisles. The ground floor spot is great for visibility, but it also means we get a lot of dust from the road. We’re just a regular part of the Karol Bagh market, doing our best every day and keeping the shelves stocked.
