Paradise Fountains

If you’re walking through Karol Bagh, you might stumble upon us at 71, Desh Bandhu Gupta Market. We’re the ones surrounded by water features and all the parts that make them work. It’s a wet job, as you can imagine. We’re often testing pumps or checking for leaks in the basins we have on display. The sound of running water is constant here, which is actually quite nice compared to the noise of the market outside. We’ve been in this market for years, and we’ve seen shops come and go, but we’ve stuck to our fountains. We don’t have a glossy catalog or a sales pitch. If you want a fountain, we show you what’s working and tell you how to take care of it so it doesn't get clogged with gunk. Most of our time is spent fixing things or helping people pick out the right size for their garden or patio. It’s a messy business sometimes, with splashing water and heavy stones to move around. Our clothes often have a few water spots on them by lunchtime. We just like what we do and we like the people who stop by to watch the water for a minute. It’s a bit of a strange niche, but it works for us here in the middle of Delhi.
