Our place, Satya Gifts.In, is situated at 9104/2 in Multani Dhanda, which is part of the Pahar Ganj area. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but most people find us eventually. The address is 9104/2, and we mention it twice because it can be confusing around here. We have a variety of gift items spread out on tables and shelves. It’s not the most organized shop in the world, if we are being honest. Sometimes we find things we forgot we even had in the back. That’s just part of the charm of a local shop. The building is old, and you can tell by the way the walls look. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and wiping down the glass counters. Multani Dhanda is always full of activity. You hear the sounds of the market starting up early and it doesn't really stop until late at night. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. We don't use fancy computers for everything; sometimes a notebook and a pen are just faster for keeping track of what goes out. People from the neighborhood come in when they need something for a birthday or a wedding. We know many of them by their faces. It’s a steady kind of work. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Delhi. We just want to keep the doors open.
