About Hari Har Marbles – Building & Construction Material in Central Delhi
The shop is right there at No. 684 Main Bazaar Subzi Mandi. If you know the Clock Tower area, you know how busy it gets every single morning. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, surrounded by the vegetable sellers and the constant noise of the bazaar. Marbles are heavy and dusty things to deal with. We spend most of our days moving slabs around and showing people what we have in stock. It’s not a fancy place by any means. It’s just a regular shop where we keep different types of stone for floors and counters. People come in from the market, often looking for something specific for their homes. We show them the pieces, talk about the price, and figure out how to get it to their site. The traffic around the Clock Tower makes deliveries a bit of a headache sometimes, but that’s just how it is living and working in this part of town. Sometimes the tea guy comes by twice a day, and that’s when we take a small break. Otherwise, it’s just about managing the inventory and making sure the marble doesn't get chipped. We don't have a big office or anything, just the space here in the Main Bazaar. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and shifting, but it keeps us busy. The floor is always covered in a bit of white dust, no matter how much we sweep it. That’s just the life of a marble trader in Subzi Mandi.
