Shawsons

We are based at B-16 in Connaught Place. People around here just call us Shawsons. Being in this part of the city means we are right in the middle of everything. It's a very old building, and you can feel that when you walk up the stairs. We have a few rooms where we do all our business. It’s nothing like the new offices you see in the outskirts. We have heavy wooden doors and windows that sometimes stick when you try to open them. We don't really mind. It’s been our home for a long time. We spend our days answering calls and managing the different projects we have going on. There’s no big corporate ladder here. It’s just a handful of us working together to keep things running. Sometimes we sit and have lunch together in the back room. We don't follow any strict corporate rules about how to talk or dress. We just dress comfortably and speak plainly. The work gets done because we know each other well and we know what needs to happen. It’s a lot of manual work sometimes, sorting through things and making sure deliveries are on time. We don't have a big marketing budget, so we just rely on people knowing where we are. It’s a solid, reliable place to work. We’ve seen many businesses come and go in Connaught Place, but we’re still here at B-16, doing our daily thing.
