Our office for Al-Saqib Exports Pvt. Ltd. is located at 3, South Avenue. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main markets and busy roads nearby. We focus on exporting various goods, which means our day is mostly filled with coordinating shipments and talking to vendors. The office itself is quite basic and doesn't have any of those modern amenities you see in big buildings. We have some desks, a few chairs for visitors, and plenty of folders containing shipping bills and manifests. We aren't the type of company that puts out a lot of advertisements or fancy brochures. Most of our clients have been with us for a long time and they know how we work. We spend a lot of time talking to logistics people and making sure the containers are booked on the right ships. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication throughout the day. The atmosphere in the office is generally relaxed, but it can get quite busy when a deadline for a shipment is approaching. We usually have a pot of tea going and some biscuits on the table for whoever stops by. It’s a small operation, so everyone knows what everyone else is doing. We don't have any fancy titles or corporate layers here. If something needs to be done, someone just does it. South Avenue is a nice place to work from because it’s easy to get to. We just keep our heads down and make sure our exports are going out on time.
