If you come down Street Number 10 in Ranjit Nagar, you will find us at 3072/U. It is a lively area and can get quite crowded in the mornings when the sun is just coming up. At Archana Florists Pvt. Ltd., we deal with a lot of flowers every single day, so the place usually smells like wet stems and petals. It is a bit cramped inside because we have buckets of water and crates everywhere, but we know where everything is. The floor is usually a bit wet from the spraying, and there are always leaves to sweep up. We have been working out of this spot for a long time, and the locals know us by now. It isn't a high-end boutique with glass displays; it's more like a workshop where we put things together. Some days are very long, especially when there are festivals or big events happening nearby, and we find ourselves working late into the night under the tubelights. My hands are usually stained green or red by the time I go home. We don't spend money on fancy signs or big ads. People just stop by because they see us working from the street. It is a lot of physical work, lifting heavy bundles and trimming thorns, but it keeps us busy. We just try to keep the flowers fresh and get the deliveries out before the traffic gets too bad in Delhi.
