If you’re looking for us, we are on the fourth floor of the Sampada building. It’s right behind Tulsi Complex near the Mithakhali Six Roads. That intersection is always a mess with traffic, so we usually hear the horns honking all day long. The office itself is fairly simple. We don’t have those modern open-plan layouts you see in magazines. It’s just rooms with desks, chairs, and a lot of binders stacked on shelves. We do a lot of international coordination, which means someone is always checking the time in another country. It gets confusing sometimes. Our staff has been together for a while, so we know who likes their coffee strong and who leaves their pens everywhere. Navrangpura is a busy area, so there’s always something happening outside. We spend our days tracking shipments, talking to agents, and making sure the paperwork for our exports is right. Mistakes in this business are a pain to fix, so we try to be careful even when we are rushing. Sometimes the internet slows down right when we need to send a big file, and you can hear the frustration in the room. It’s just a group of people working hard in a standard office. We don’t have a corporate handbook for how to talk to people; we just try to be decent and get the work done properly.
