Red Plus Tea Private Limited

Our shop, Red Plus Tea Private Limited, is located at 1337 Sangat Rashan in Pahar Ganj. If you know Delhi, you know Pahar Ganj is a maze of small lanes and old buildings. We are right there at the Sangat Rashan Chowk. The shop isn't fancy at all. It’s a ground floor spot where we store and sell tea. Most of the space is taken up by big sacks of tea leaves and the smell is actually quite nice once you get used to it. We spend our days weighing out portions and talking to the regulars who come by. Central Delhi is always moving, so there is a constant stream of people passing by the front door. We keep a simple ledger and a small scale. It’s mostly about the tea, really. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us, the tea, and the customers. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to sit in the dark for a bit, but that’s just part of being in an old neighborhood. We like the history of the area and the fact that we can provide something people use every day. Whether it’s a small bag for a home or a larger order for a stall, we just treat it all the same. It’s a quiet life inside the shop, even if the streets outside are completely chaotic. We just focus on the leaves and the brewing.
