Optima Watches

You can find us on the second floor of a building at 10, Todar Mal Lane. It’s right near Bangali Market in Connaught Place, which is a very busy part of the city. To get to our office, you have to walk up some narrow stairs. It’s not the easiest place to find if it’s your first time, but we like being here because everything is so close. We spend our days working with watches. Some are new, some are old, and there’s always something that needs fixing or checking. The light in the office is okay, but we use small lamps to see the tiny parts inside the watch cases. It’s quiet work mostly. You can hear the ticking if it’s a slow afternoon. We have a couple of workbenches that are cluttered with tweezers, glass pieces, and small screws. My desk is usually covered in receipts and old watch straps. People come in from the market nearby to drop things off. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just a small one near the door. The weather gets really hot in the summer, and the old AC unit we have makes a lot of noise. We don't mind it though. Being in CP means there’s always good food nearby, so lunch breaks are usually the best part of the day. We’ve been here long enough that the other shop owners know our names and stop by to chat.
