Novex Novelties

We run Novex Novelties out of a space at No. 8662/14B in Shidipura. It’s right in the middle of Karol Bagh, which anyone will tell you is a crowded place to be. The lanes here are narrow and there’s always someone pushing a cart or moving boxes past the door. Inside our place, we have shelves lined with all sorts of small items and novelties. It gets a bit cramped when new stock arrives and we have to find space for it all. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to get around to it. Most of the day is spent checking what we have left and talking to folks who come by looking for specific things. Shidipura has its own rhythm, and being here in Karol Bagh means we’re never short on activity. Sometimes the sunlight hits the front window just right and makes the whole place feel a bit warmer. We keep a small radio playing in the corner to break up the silence while we work. It’s just a regular local shop where we handle our business without too much fuss. We know the other shopkeepers on the block, and we usually share a bit of gossip over lunch. It’s a busy life here at 8662/14B, but we wouldn’t really know what to do with ourselves if it was quiet. The routine keeps us going through the week.
