Nirman Exports

Our office for Nirman Exports is located at 6, Underhill Lane Road. It is a quiet enough spot in Civil Lines, which is a nice change from the more crowded parts of the city. We have a decent amount of space here, though it always seems to get filled up with boxes and samples faster than we can clear them out. The building isn't anything special to look at, but it’s sturdy and keeps the rain out. We spend most of our hours checking lists and making sure our shipments are ready to go. There is a lot of back-and-forth on the phones and plenty of typing to do. It’s not the kind of work that makes for a great story, but it’s what we do. The light in the office is actually quite good in the mornings, which makes starting the day a little easier. We usually have the radio playing quietly in the background just to keep things from being too silent. Underhill Lane Road can get a bit congested in the afternoons when everyone is trying to head home, so we’ve learned to time our errands carefully. We are just regular people working in a regular office. We don't have a fancy mission statement or a polished way of talking. We just come in, do the work that needs doing, and try to stay organized. It’s a practical life, and we are quite content with it here in Civil Lines.
