National Exports (India)

National Exports (India) is tucked into 56/12, Old Rajinder Nagar. It is a typical neighborhood office where we spend our days sorting out orders and talking to suppliers on the phone. The space isn't very large so we have to be careful about how we stack the samples and all the paperwork. We’ve been in Old Rajinder Nagar for a long time and the neighbors know us well enough by now. Most of our work involves finding goods and getting them ready to be sent out to different places. It is a lot of logistics and checking numbers over and over again so we don’t make mistakes. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit there and wait for it to come back on. It is not a corporate environment with suits and ties. We usually just wear whatever is comfortable for moving boxes around. The street outside is always full of people and cars so getting shipments in and out can be a real headache. We’ve learned to just deal with the chaos of the city. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy things about us. It is just a group of us working hard to make sure the business stays afloat. We handle a variety of products depending on what is in demand at the time. It is simple work but it takes up most of our time. We just keep our heads down.
