Mridani Exports

You can find Mridani Exports over at 812 Joshi Road in Karol Bagh. If you know Karol Bagh, you know how packed the streets get with all the rickshaws and delivery vans trying to get through. Our place is right in the thick of it. We spend most of the day surrounded by cardboard boxes and rolls of packing tape. We deal with exports, so there is always a lot of checking lists and making sure the right things are going into the right crates. It gets pretty dusty, especially in the afternoons when the wind kicks up. We have a small crew here. Usually, one person is on the phone dealing with the transport guys while the rest of us are busy in the back. The building is older, so the floors are a bit uneven, but it works for what we need. We don’t have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably find us sitting on a stool near the main door. We get a lot of noise from the street, but you get used to it after a week or so. It’s just the sound of business happening. We try to keep things moving so nothing sits on the floor for too long. Space is tight on Joshi Road, so we have to be smart about how we stack things. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and moving, but it keeps us busy from morning until we lock up and go home.
