Our place is on the first floor at 4435-36/3, along Ansari Road in Daryaganj. Daryaganj is a very old and crowded part of the city, especially with all the bookshops and traffic. Mittal Aroma Essential Oils Pvt. Ltd. has been here for a long time. The building is one of those traditional ones where the rooms are tall and the hallways are narrow. We work mainly with essential oils. Most of our day is spent checking the batches and making sure the smells are right. It’s a lot of manual pouring and measuring. We don’t use a lot of fancy machinery; it’s mostly just us and our tools. The noise from Ansari Road is always there in the background, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We have a small team here. We know each other well and everyone knows their job. Sometimes the heat in the summer gets a bit much, but we have some fans going and just get on with it. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of workers. We are just a small outfit trying to do things the right way. People come to us because they know where we are and they know we’ve been here forever. We keep our records in big ledgers and on an old computer that sometimes takes its time to start. It’s just how we run things here in Daryaganj. We don't need things to be perfect, just functional and decent.
