Mehra Traders

Mehra Traders is located on the second floor of a building on Ansari Road in Darya Ganj. This part of Delhi is famous for books and printing, and we fit right into that. Our office is 2/16, and you have to go up a narrow staircase to find us. It’s usually quiet up here compared to the street, except for the sound of our old printer. We deal with trading various goods, mostly paper-related, though it changes depending on what’s needed. The shelves are packed with files and samples. We don’t have any modern glass partitions or bright lights. It’s just an old-fashioned office with heavy wooden desks and stacks of paper everywhere. We’ve been here for years, and the neighborhood hasn't changed much, which we like. The tea stall downstairs knows exactly how we like our chai, and they bring it up a few times a day. We don't do much on the internet. Most of our business comes from people we’ve known for decades. We talk on the phone a lot and write things down in big ledgers. It might seem slow to some people, but it works for us. We aren't looking to expand into some giant corporation. We just want to keep the business steady and take care of the people who buy from us. It's just a regular day's work for everyone here.
