Coconut Grove

Our place, Coconut Grove, is located right inside Hotel Janpath. The pincode here is 110001, which tells you we are right in the heart of New Delhi. Being part of such an old hotel means we have been around for a long time. You have to walk through the main lobby of Janpath to get to us. We don't have our own separate street entrance, so it can feel a bit hidden away if you aren't looking for it. The hotel has that old-fashioned feel to it, and we haven't changed much of our space either. The carpets have seen better days and the furniture is heavy wood that has been there since the beginning. We get a mix of people coming through. Some are tourists staying at the hotel who just want a quiet spot, and others are locals who have been visiting this area for decades. The air in here always smells a bit like old wood and coffee. We don't do any big advertisements or have a marketing team. It’s just a few of us making sure things are ready for whoever walks in. The 110001 area is always loud and crowded, but once you are inside the hotel, things quiet down a lot. We don't try to be fancy or follow any new trends. We just keep things running as they always have been. It is a simple life here at the hotel. We are just one small part of the history of Janpath.
