Malik Impex

Malik Impex is located at 6573, Pradhan Chowk, right in the Nabi Karim area of Pahar Ganj. This part of New Delhi never really sleeps, and neither do we, it feels like. We’ve got a small space here where we handle all our import and export stuff. It’s a lot of boxes and paperwork most days. The streets outside are narrow and always full of rickshaws and people moving goods. We’ve been here at Pradhan Chowk for quite a while now. It’s not the easiest place to park, so we do a lot of walking. Inside, the shelves are packed with whatever we’re currently moving. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the ropes. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit and wait it out with a cup of tea. It’s a real New Delhi business. We don't use big words or try to look bigger than we are. We just want to get the goods from point A to point B without any trouble. If you come to see us, you’ll probably find us mid-count or packing something up. The neighborhood is noisy and messy, but it’s home for the business. We know the other shop owners and everyone helps each other out when things get busy or something goes wrong with a delivery.
