Malhotra Cold Drink

We have been here at Plot No. L-259 in Laxmanpuri for quite some time now. Pahar Ganj gets really busy during the day, especially with all the people walking around near the White House Hotel. Our shop isn't anything fancy, just a regular spot where we keep the crates stacked and the coolers running. It’s mostly just us handling the daily stock that comes in. Some mornings are slower than others, but once the sun is up, people start stopping by because it gets dusty and hot out there on the street. We just focus on keeping things organized. The shelves stay filled with whatever is in season or what people usually ask for when they pass through this part of Laxmanpuri. It's a small space, so we have to be careful with how we stack the bottles. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a bit of a hard time getting close because the lane gets crowded, but we manage to get everything inside. It is a lot of lifting and moving boxes around throughout the week. We don't really do much else besides making sure the inventory is right and the power stays on for the refrigerators. Being near the hotel means we see a lot of different faces every day. Most people are just in a hurry to get somewhere else. We keep the doors open and just do the work that needs doing. It’s a simple routine we've had for years. It’s not about much more than that.
