About Lord Krishna Handicrafts – Art & Craft in Central Delhi
Our shop, Lord Krishna Handicrafts, is tucked away in the Chota Bazar area of Shahdara. Specifically, we are at Shop No 2/4 near Shora Kothi. It is a traditional part of the city, and the streets can be quite tight and crowded with people. Our space is filled with all kinds of handmade items that we collect and sell. It isn't a big, modern store; it feels more like a workshop or a local warehouse. We have shelves stacked with different crafts, and things can get a bit dusty sometimes. That is just the nature of working with these materials and being in a busy market. We spend our days unpacking new arrivals and showing them to people who wander in from the bazaar. Shora Kothi is a well-known landmark around here, so most locals know where we are. We don't do much advertising at all. People usually find us by word of mouth or by just walking past in the market. It is a simple life here in Shahdara. We enjoy the work and the people we meet. Every piece in the shop has a bit of a story, though we don't make a big deal out of it. We just put them on the shelves and let people look around at their own pace. It is an honest way to make a living. If you are ever in Chota Bazar, you can see what we have at Shop No 2/4. We stay busy and keep the shop open for everyone.
