Lmj International

Lmj International is based out of Lmj House9. It’s a building we’ve occupied for a good bit of time. If you come by, you’ll see it’s a straightforward place where the work happens. We don’t have a lot of extra space, so every corner is used for something. Most of our mornings are spent dealing with paperwork and checking on the various things we have going on. Since the name says international, people sometimes expect a massive corporate tower, but it’s really just a functional building where we get our hands dirty. We have a small crew here. Everyone knows what they are supposed to do, so we don't really need many meetings. We just talk across the hall. The light in the building is okay, but we often keep the windows open for some fresh air. It can get a bit loud when the trucks are nearby, but we’re used to it. We drink a lot of coffee while we look over the manifests and orders. It’s not the kind of place with a lobby or a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just says hello. We keep things pretty simple. The focus is always on getting the shipments sorted or making sure the files are updated. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it’s what keeps the business going. We stay until the job is done, which sometimes means late evenings at Lmj House9. It's just how we do it. We've been here for years and know the building well.
