Gulab Singh Johri Mal

Gulab Singh Johri Mal is located at 320 Dariba Kalan, right in the middle of Chandni Chowk. If you have ever been to this part of Old Delhi, you know how cramped and lively it always is. Our shop has been at this address for a very long time. The street is narrow, and the buildings are quite old, but there is a lot of history inside these walls. We deal with traditional scents and other items here. The shop itself is small and packed to the ceiling with bottles and jars. When you walk into Dariba Kalan, the smells change every few steps you take. Outside our front door, there is always a crowd of people walking by, cycles moving through, and the general chaos of the market. We do not have a big modern storefront with bright LED lights or glass displays. It is much more traditional, with wooden counters and old shelves that have been here for decades. We spend our days talking to people who have been coming to us for years. Some are tourists, but most are locals who know the way. Being at 320 is part of who we are. It is a busy spot, especially during the festival seasons. We open up early in the morning, sweep the front, and get ready for the day ahead. There is no corporate manual for how we run things. We just do what we have always done.
