Kapsons Exports (P) Ltd.

Our office is down in the basement at 6A/27 in the W.E.A. area of Karol Bagh. It gets a bit dark down there, but we have plenty of lights and it keeps us cool during the Delhi heat. Kapsons Exports has been running from this spot for a good number of years now. We deal with sending things abroad, mostly checking boxes and making sure the paperwork is all sorted before the trucks come. It’s a lot of sitting and typing, then a lot of lifting and moving stuff around. Karol Bagh is always loud and busy, so being in the basement actually helps us focus a bit more on the work. We handle various goods, whatever the clients need us to source and ship out. It’s not a glamorous job, just a lot of logistics and making sure the counts are right. We’ve had the same three guys in the office for ages, so we know how each other works without having to say much. Sometimes the rain floods the street a bit, and we have to be careful with the entrance, but that’s just life in this part of the city. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything, just desks and stacks of files. People come by for meetings and we just offer them tea and get down to business. It’s a simple setup but it works for what we do. We try to keep the coffee pot full because we stay late quite often to finish the shipping manifests.
