Kam Photo Types

Kam Photo Types is located at 5/56-57 in Old Rajinder Nagar, right on Shankar Road. This part of Delhi is always full of life and a bit chaotic. We have been in this spot for many years. The building is older and our space is a bit cramped because of all the heavy equipment we have for typesetting and photo work. There are stacks of paper everywhere and the smell of ink is quite strong some days. We do not have a fancy storefront. It is more of a workshop feel where things are constantly being printed or moved around. Shankar Road is usually jammed with cars and rickshaws, so it is never quiet outside our door. Most of our days are spent hunched over machines or checking proofs on the table. We get a lot of local students and people from the neighborhood coming in for various bits of work. It is a bit messy inside, honestly, with cables running along the floor and boxes piled up in the corners. We do not use any big marketing talk. We just do the work as it comes in. My hands are usually a bit dirty from the machines by lunch time. We eat at the small stalls nearby. It is a very basic operation and we like it that way. If you come by, just look for the old sign near the entrance. We are usually in the back where the noise is.
