K. S. Intertrade Corporation

Our office is up on the 7th floor of the Indraprakash Building. If you know Barakhamba Road, you know it's always busy with traffic and people rushing around. We've been in room 719 for a while now. It’s a typical office space with lots of files, a couple of computers that are getting a bit old, and a coffee machine that sometimes works. Being an intertrade corporation means we spend a lot of time on the phone or checking emails about shipments and orders. It’s mostly paperwork and coordination. We aren't a huge firm with hundreds of employees. There are just a handful of us here keeping things moving. The view from the window is mostly other tall buildings and the street noise below. Sometimes the elevator in Indraprakash takes forever, so we’ve learned to be patient. We handle a lot of different goods, whatever needs moving or trading at the time. It keeps the days from being too boring. Lunch is usually something quick from a nearby stall or brought from home. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a door with our name on it. It’s a busy life here in the heart of the city, but we like the pace. Most days are just about staying on top of the logistics and making sure nothing gets stuck. It’s straightforward work, nothing too complicated to explain. We've been doing this for years and it suits us just fine.
