Jia Silver Art Jewellery

Our shop, Jia Silver Art Jewellery, is at 5/73 on Padam Singh Road in Karol Bagh. If you know Karol Bagh, you know how hectic it gets, especially on the weekends. We open up the shutters every morning and spend a little time wiping down the glass counters. The silver pieces are kept in the back or under the glass where they catch the light. It’s a small space. If three or four people come in at once, it starts to feel a bit tight. We’ve been at this location on Padam Singh Road for quite some time. The street outside is always full of people looking for deals, and we can hear the street food vendors calling out from noon until late at night. We keep a small stool behind the counter where we sit when things get slow, but usually, there is something to polish or a box to reorganize. We aren't a massive showroom with guards at the door. It’s just a regular jewelry shop where we know a lot of the regulars who walk by every day. We focus on the silver work and keeping the inventory straight. Sometimes the electricity goes off and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, but that’s just part of being in this neighborhood.
