Globe Stationers

We’ve been here at C-23 in Connaught Place for quite some time now. If you know the area, we’re tucked right between the Odean and Plaza cinemas, so there is always a lot of noise and people walking past the windows. It gets pretty hectic during the weekends when the movie crowds are out. Mostly, we just spend our days sorting through the various pens, notebooks, and office supplies that come in. It isn't a fancy place. The shelves are a bit old and we have stacks of paper almost touching the ceiling sometimes. We open up in the morning, sweep the front, and get the ledger ready for whoever might drop by needing a specific ink refill or a bunch of registers. My father used to say the location is everything but mostly it’s just about being here when someone realizes they ran out of staples. There’s a tea stall nearby that we visit twice a day. The shop feels small when we get a big delivery, and we have to shuffle boxes around just to find a place to sit. It is just a regular stationery shop, nothing more. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us making sure things are where they should be. Sometimes the light in the back flickers, but we haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. It’s just how things are at Globe Stationers.
