You can find our shop at 8774/76 in the Shidi Pura area of Karol Bagh. We are right across from the old Filmistan cinema and the fire station, so it is a very easy spot to locate if you are in the neighborhood. The fire station is quite active, so we hear the sirens pretty often. It adds a bit of excitement to the day. We have been selling novelties here for quite some time now. The shop is packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of items. It is a bit of a tight squeeze when we get a lot of people in at once, but we make it work. Karol Bagh is a place that never really sleeps, and the street noise is a constant companion. We don't have any corporate training or fancy sales tactics. We just show people what we have and let them decide. The building itself is quite old and has a lot of character, with high ceilings and some cracks in the plaster that we have stopped noticing. We usually open up early in the morning and stay until the sun goes down and the market starts to quiet down a little. It is a lot of work keeping everything organized, and sometimes things get a bit dusty. We just enjoy being part of this busy market. It is a simple, honest way to spend the day, surrounded by interesting things and local faces. We hope to be here for many years to come.
