6/34 Old Rajender Nagar is where we set up shop. It’s a typical residential building in an area that’s mostly full of students and small shops. Our space is basically a few rooms filled with computer screens and some old chairs that have seen better days. We call ourselves Creatives, but on most days, it feels more like we’re just workers trying to hit a deadline. There are always piles of paper everywhere and someone is usually looking for a pen that actually works. The street outside is noisy because of the chai stalls and the people walking to the metro, so we usually keep the windows shut. It can get a bit stuffy in the afternoons, but we have a small fan that helps. We don’t do fancy presentations or have a lounge for guests. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us hunched over our desks drinking tea out of paper cups. It’s a simple operation. We focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay on top of the schedule. Sometimes the internet acts up, and we all have to take a break until it comes back on. That’s just how it goes here. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a bit now and we’re used to the rhythm of the place, even if it’s a bit messy and crowded sometimes.
