Connaught

We are located at 18, Krishna Market, which is right in the middle of Paharganj. If you know Delhi at all, you know how Krishna Market can be. It is crowded, loud, and full of energy all the time. Our place, Connaught, has been here for a long time. The shop itself is not very big, but we make the most of the space we have. We are surrounded by all sorts of other businesses, from clothes to food. Most of our day is spent dealing with the people who wander in from the street and the regulars who have been coming to us for years. It is a bit of a squeeze inside with all the stock we keep, but it is a cozy spot once you get used to the layout. We do not have any fancy marketing or big signs. People usually find us by word of mouth or just by walking past while they are shopping. The noise from the market is constant, so we have learned to talk over the sound of the rickshaws and the crowds. It is an honest way to make a living. We just open up, handle our business, and deal with whatever the day brings. Sometimes the power goes out or the street gets blocked, but that is just life in Paharganj. We do not try to be something we are not. We are just a local shop in a busy market trying to get things right.
