Cargotalk (Ddp Publications)- Premier Media Partner

You can find us over at 72, Todarmal Road. It is an older part of the city, and the building has that classic, lived-in feel to it. We work on Ddp Publications here, specifically focusing on Cargotalk. Basically, we spend our time writing and putting together news for the cargo and logistics industry. It is a lot of phone calls to sources and typing up what is happening in the world of transport. We are not some massive media conglomerate with fancy studios. Our office is full of stacks of old magazines, half-empty coffee mugs, and people talking about deadlines. It gets pretty hectic when we are trying to get an issue out on time. We have been at this for a long time, so we know most of the people in the shipping and trucking business. We act as a media partner for various industry events, so sometimes the office is half-empty because everyone is out at a trade show or a meeting. When we are here, we are mostly just trying to keep the facts straight and get the industry news out to people who need it. The street outside is usually lined with cars, and it can be a bit of a squeeze to get through, but we like the location. It feels grounded and real. We don't use a lot of big words or try to act like we are more important than we are. We just report on things.
