Cafe Coffee Day

Our shop, Cafe Coffee Day, is located at number 54 on Ajmal Khan Road right in the middle of Karol Bagh. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets with shoppers and vendors all day long. We have been here for a long time and seen a lot of changes on the street. It is a busy life for us, especially on the weekends. We spend our time making coffee, clearing tables, and trying to keep the place cool when the Delhi heat is at its worst. The air conditioning works hard but sometimes it struggles with the door opening and closing so much. Our staff is used to the pace and we know most of the regular shopkeepers nearby who come in for a quick break. It is not a very big space, so things can get a bit cramped when it is raining or particularly hot outside. We do not try to do anything too complicated. We just serve the drinks and snacks and try to keep things tidy. Sometimes the milk delivery is late and we have to scramble, or the internet goes down, but that is just part of running a place like this. We are just a regular cafe where people sit for a bit before heading back out into the market rush. It is a simple job and we like the vibe of the neighborhood.
