Our office is at number 205 in the MCD Market in Karol Bagh. If you know Karol Bagh, you know it’s a place that never really stops moving. The MCD Market is always full of shoppers and vendors, and we are right in the thick of it. Asha Traexim has been here for years. Our office isn't very large, and it’s packed with folders, samples, and a few old computers. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than three people are inside at once. The walls are covered with calendars and some old photos of the family. We spend a lot of our time on the phone, talking to people about imports and exports. It’s a lot of tracking shipments and making sure the paperwork is in order. The stairs leading up to our office are narrow and can be a bit dark, but we know every step by heart. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a coffee machine. If we want tea, we just call down to the stall at the corner of the market. It’s a very local way of doing things. We know most of the other shop owners around us, and we look out for each other. Sometimes the noise from the market makes it hard to hear on the phone, but that’s just part of being in Karol Bagh. We aren't trying to be a huge corporation; we just want to do our daily work and keep things moving.
