People know Karol Bagh for the markets, and our place here at Chana Market is right in the middle of it. We have been at Plot No. 11 A/28 for a long while now. It gets noisy outside with all the people walking by and the traffic, but we just get on with things inside the office. We handle a lot of logistics and paperwork because of the export and import side of the business. It is not fancy, just desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of tea being made throughout the day. Some days are slow where we just wait for shipments to clear, and other days the phones do not stop ringing from morning till we close up. Most of us have worked here for years, so we know the neighbors and the local chai wallah pretty well. Dealing with trading and clearing stuff means there is always some new problem to solve or a document that is missing a stamp. We do not have a big corporate lobby or anything, just a sign on the door and a lot of work to do. If you find yourself in the WEA area, you will see our building easily. It is a busy spot but we like it here. There is always something happening in the market outside. We just keep our heads down and try to get the orders through on time without too much fuss or extra stress.
