Arvindo Caneo Mart

If you take a walk through the Municipal Market on Panchkuian Road, you will eventually find Arvindo Caneo Mart at number 99. This market has been around for ages, and it is always crowded with people looking for furniture. Our mart focuses on cane items, so the shop is packed with chairs, stools, and all sorts of baskets. Sometimes you can barely walk through the aisles without bumping into a pile of stock. The smell of treated cane is quite strong, but you stop noticing it after a few minutes of being inside. Because of the heavy traffic outside, things get a bit dusty, but we do our best to keep it clean enough. Much of our time is spent chatting with people who wander in off the street. Some are just browsing, while others are looking for something specific for their porch. Suppliers can be difficult to deal with, especially when the weather slows down the deliveries. We only have a small staff here, just a couple of people who know where every single item is hidden. Panchkuian Road is never quiet thanks to the horns and the nearby construction, but inside the shop, it feels a bit more settled. Our old wooden fans have seen better days, yet they still manage to keep the air moving. We don't have a fancy website or any big marketing plans. People in the area just know where we are. It’s a simple way to run a shop.
