Our shop is Akal Purakh Handicrafts, and you can find us at Shop No. 1191 in the Main Bazar area of Pahar Ganj. It is a very busy spot with people everywhere and lots of noise. Being in the middle of a bazar means there is never a quiet moment. We’ve been here for a good while, and the shop is just a regular place where we keep our items. We don't have any big, shiny office or a corporate team. It is just us and the work we do every day. Sometimes the street gets so crowded that it’s hard to walk, but that is just how Pahar Ganj is. We spend our time checking on the handicrafts and talking to people who stop by the shop. We don't use any fancy language to describe ourselves. We are just a local business in a busy market. Every morning we open the shutters and start the day. The neighbors are all shopkeepers like us, so we help each other out when we can. It’s a bit messy sometimes and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us. We don't need things to be perfect to get the job done. We just keep moving and handle whatever comes our way in the bazar.
