Ghate Agro Producer Company Limited

Our office is at House No. 137 in Jalgaon, which is part of the Jamod area in Buldhana. It’s a plain brick place where we keep the records and handle the agro producer side of things. Tq. Sangrampur is where most of our work happens. We aren't a huge outfit. It’s just a few of us trying to make sure the farming side of the business stays on track. Dealing with the 443402 zip code means we see a lot of local faces. Ghate Agro is basically a way for us to pool what we have. Some days the phones don't stop ringing and other days it's just the sound of the wind outside. We don't have a fancy lobby. There is a wooden table and some chairs where we sit to talk business. Most of the time, our clothes are a bit dusty from being out at the storage sites. It's honest work. We don't use big words or have complicated systems. If someone needs something, they just come to the house or find us at the post office. We’ve lived in Buldhana a long time. The local land is what we know best. Sometimes the paperwork gets behind because we’re too busy out in the yard, but we catch up eventually. It’s just how things go when you’re running a small agro producer company in a place like Jalgaon. We don't mind the extra hours when the harvest is ready and the trucks are lined up.
