You can find Shree Om Milk Foods (P) Ltd. over at E-53 in the Karni Industrial Area. It is a bit out of the way if you aren't familiar with the industrial zones, but it is where all the heavy lifting happens. We deal with milk foods, so our days start while most people are still in bed. The Karni area is full of sheds and factories, and ours is just one of many along the road. It can get pretty loud with the cooling units and the trucks coming in to load up. The floor is usually a bit wet from the cleaning, and there is always a faint smell of milk in the air. We have a small office space at the front where we keep the records and handle the visitors, but most of the life of the business is in the back where the processing happens. It is a lot of checking temperatures and making sure the crates are stacked right. The sun hits the metal roof in the afternoon and it gets quite warm, so we keep the fans going as much as we can. It’s steady work, and it keeps us busy from dawn until late. We don't have a lot of time for sitting around talking. We just make sure the milk products are moving out the gate and the machines are kept clean. It is a practical environment and we just focus on getting through the daily production cycle.
