B. R . Woollen Mills

We are located in the Rani Bazar Industrial Area at plot 84. It’s an old industrial spot, so the roads aren’t always the best, especially when it rains. We’ve been working with wool for a long time. The mill gets quite dusty because of all the fibers, but that’s just the nature of the business. We have the machines running most of the day. It’s noisy and hot in the summer, but we get the job done. We supply different kinds of woollen materials to various places. Most of our workers have been with us for years. They know the machines better than anyone. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. People just come straight to the factory if they need to discuss an order. It’s very practical. Sometimes the power goes out, which slows things down, but we have a backup generator to keep things moving. Dealing with wool means being careful about quality and texture. Every batch is a bit different. We spend a lot of time checking the yarn. The area around here is mostly other factories and warehouses. It’s a hardworking part of town. We don’t do much marketing, we just focus on the production side of things. It’s a family-run place and we like keeping it simple. Sometimes it's a bit of a mess with all the bags of raw wool, but we know where everything is. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
