G.S. Institute Of Commerce

G.S. Institute Of Commerce is tucked away inside the Jassusar Gate area here in Bikaner. If you know the SDP School campus, we are right there inside the gates. It is a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main roads outside. We focus on commerce subjects because that is what we know best. Most of the students who come here live in the nearby colonies and they just walk or cycle over after their school finishes. The rooms we use are basic but they do the job. We have been working from this campus for some time now, and the school staff knows us well. Bikaner can get really hot in the summer, so we try to schedule the classes when it is a bit cooler, or we just make do with the fans running at full speed. There is no big office here, just a place where we sit with the accountancy books and calculators. We spend a lot of time going over the same problems until everyone gets it. It is not a huge operation, just a few of us trying to make sure the kids understand their debits and credits properly. Sometimes parents drop by to ask how their children are doing, and we just have a quick chat near the entrance. It is a very local setup, and we like it that way because we know everyone around here. This makes teaching feel much more personal than it would in a big city center.
