Vivekkumar Producer Company Limited

Living out here in Binupur Madara Kheda is usually pretty quiet, which is how we like it. We started Vivekkumar Producer Company Limited out of Islam Khan’s place because we needed a central spot to get our work organized. It is just a plain building, nothing to look at twice, but it serves us well for meeting up and figuring out what to do with the season's yield. The roads around here can be a bit rough after a heavy rain, so we spend a fair bit of time complaining about that while we wait for the trucks. We are not a big outfit with a lot of money or expensive equipment. We are just a bunch of guys from the area who have been farming since we were old enough to walk behind our fathers in the dirt. Most of our days are spent checking the crops and seeing what the weather is going to do next. We don’t have a website or anything like that. If someone wants to talk to us, they usually just show up and we sit on the porch for a bit. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it’s what we know. We try to be fair with each other and make sure everyone gets their share of the work and the rewards. It is mostly about making sure we can keep doing what we do for another year without going into debt.
