Roopsagar Farm Agriculture Private Limited

Roopsagar Farm Agriculture Private Limited is based in Ward No 14 of Jhitkahin village. The post office is in Phulkahan and we are in the Shyampur Bhatha region. It’s a very rural spot, so things can be a bit quiet unless it’s harvest time. We started this because we wanted to have a bit more control over how our farming was going. Most of us here have dirt under our fingernails most of the time. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or a polished office. It’s more about sitting under a tree or in a small room and talking about the price of fertilizers or the lack of water. Our village of Jhitkahin is small, so everyone knows what everyone else is doing anyway. We try to help the smaller farms around here get their stuff to market without losing too much money. It’s a constant struggle with the weather and the markets, but we’ve lived here our whole lives so we are used to it. The work is physical and tiring, but there’s a sense of pride in seeing the crops grow well. We don't have a website or a marketing person. It’s just us, the soil, and the daily grind of keeping the farm going. We take things one day at a time and try to make sure nobody in our group gets left behind when things get tough.
