You can find Koshi Aquaculture Private Limited over in Chandpur, in the Gogri area. We operate out of Janki Raman Sharma’s place. Most of us here have always lived near the water, so getting into fish farming felt like a natural step for us to take. It’s a lot of work keeping the ponds right and making sure the fish stay healthy. We aren't some big city corporation. We're just local guys who know the local waters and want to make a living from it. Most days you'll find us checking the water levels or feeding the stock. It’s a cycle that doesn't really stop. We started this private limited company to make the business side of things a bit more organized. Selling fish can be tricky because everything has to be fresh and moved fast to the buyers. We deal with the local markets mostly. There’s always something that needs fixing, whether it’s a pump or a net. We don't use any fancy talk here. We just know what works for our ponds and what doesn't. Sometimes the season is great and other times we struggle with the heat or the water quality. We just take it one day at a time. It’s a messy job sometimes, getting into the mud and the water, but it’s honest work. We’re just trying to provide for our families and keep the business running smoothly in Gogri without any unnecessary complications or overhead.
