Down here in Village Jhujhaila, we set up Cordyceps India Agrotech Private Limited to handle our farming work. Our workspace is over at Surendra Kumar’s house near Post Bhainsa in the Bijnor district. It’s a bit out of the way, but that’s where we do all our daily business. Sometimes we sit around and figure out the next steps for the coming season. It’s practical work, nothing too polished or fancy. We spend our time looking at plants and checking on the equipment we use. Bijnor is a good place for this kind of thing because people here understand hard work. We keep our records at the village office and try to stay on top of the local farming needs. It feels right to be working from a home base rather than a cold office building.
