Golden Catering House

Our place is Plot No. 69 in Bapuji Nagar, right near the Venosin building. Golden Catering House has been operating out of this spot for a good while now. Bapuji Nagar is always crowded and finding a parking spot near us is a bit of a nightmare for the delivery vans. We spend most of our time in the back where the big burners are. Catering is a tough business because you’re always working when everyone else is having a holiday or a party. We do a lot of weddings and local functions around the city. The kitchen is always full of steam and the smell of spices which I’ve grown used to over the years. We have a big table where we do all the chopping and prep work. It’s a lot of early mornings and very late nights, especially during the wedding season when everyone wants their food at the same time. We don’t really do any advertising or anything like that. Most people just hear about us from their neighbors or friends who had us cook for them before. We just try to keep the pots clean and the food hot. It’s a simple life even if it is a bit exhausting sometimes. We like being part of the noise and the life of Bapuji Nagar. Sometimes we think about moving to a bigger place but this one feels like home now.
