Excel Home

Excel Home is tucked away at A/17, Unit 4 in Bhouma Nagar. It’s right near the Bhubaneswar GPO which makes it easy to find if you know where you are going. We’ve been here for several years now and the building has seen better days but it holds up well enough for what we do. The neighborhood is mostly quiet except for the morning rush when everyone is heading out to their jobs. We handle things for homes and it keeps us occupied from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes people walk in just to ask for directions because of the post office nearby. We don’t mind much. The office inside is a bit cluttered with papers and samples because we aren't the best at filing things away immediately. It feels more like a workspace than a corporate office which suits us just fine. My desk is right by the window so I see everything happening on the street. We’ve had the same sign out front since we opened and it’s started to fade a little bit in the sun. We keep thinking about repainting it but there is always something else to do first. It’s a small team here and we’ve all known each other for a long time so we don’t need many rules. We just show up and get through the list of things that need doing for the day without complaining much.
