Vayam Rakshamah Foundation

We are located at Plot Number 1/6 in Danish Kunj Sector-5. It’s over on Kolar Road in Bhopal, zip code 462042. Our group is called the Vayam Rakshamah Foundation. We are basically just a few people from the neighborhood who wanted to do something constructive for the area. Danish Kunj is a nice spot, though the traffic on Kolar Road can be a real headache some afternoons. Our office is pretty plain. We have some chairs, a few old tables, and plenty of notebooks filled with ideas. We aren't some big-shot corporation with a huge budget. Most of what we do comes out of our own pockets or from small bits of help we get here and there. We don't have a receptionist or anything fancy like that. If you come by, you’ll probably just find one or two of us working on something. We spend a lot of time talking to the residents around Sector-5 to see what’s going on and where we might be able to lend a hand. We aren't into using big words or making promises we can't keep. We just want to do some decent work for Bhopal. It’s not always perfectly organized, and sometimes we lose track of the time, but we care about this place. It’s just us doing what we think is right for our community without any extra fuss or pretending to be something we aren't.
