Sarakshi Kalyan Samiti

We’ve been here at the Barkatullah University Campus for quite some time now. Our spot is at H-36, which is easy enough to find if you are already on the grounds. Sarakshi Kalyan Samiti isn't some big, fancy office with a receptionist and polished floors. It is just a small place where a few of us gather to work on local projects and help out our neighbors. Some days are very quiet, while others get a bit hectic with people dropping by to ask questions or get some help with their paperwork. Being right on a university campus means there is always life moving around us, which is nice. We see students rushing to class and faculty members walking by every day. Our office is pretty basic, just some old desks and plenty of files stacked up in the corners. We spend most of our time talking to people who come in. Usually, they just need someone to listen or a bit of guidance on something happening in the community. It’s been a long road since we first started this, and we’ve had our share of ups and downs. There are times when the fans don’t work or we run out of tea, but we keep going. We don’t have a massive team, just a handful of local people who want to be useful. If you’re ever near H-36, you’ll probably see one of us through the window. We try to keep things as straightforward as possible for anyone who stops by.
