Adiwasi Sanrachana Seva Sansthan

Adiwasi Sanrachana Seva Sansthan is located out in Barbatpur, which is part of the Shahpur Tehsil in Betul. If you know the area, you know it’s mostly rural and we spend a lot of our time dealing with the needs of the tribal people living in these parts. We’ve got a small setup here. It’s not much to look at, but it serves the purpose. Most of us grew up around here, so we understand the local problems without needing anyone to explain them. We help with various things, from local administration issues to helping folks organize themselves better. The post office is nearby, and that’s a main landmark for us. Dist Betul is a large area, but Barbatpur is where we keep our main records and meet up. It’s hard work sometimes, especially when you have to travel between the different villages, but someone has to do it. We don't use big words or have complicated systems. We just talk to people, listen to what they need, and try to find a way to make things work within the resources we have. Sometimes we succeed, sometimes it takes longer than we thought. That's just how life goes in the village. We’re here every day, just trying to be useful to our neighbors and the community at large. No one here is looking for fame, just a bit of steady work that helps everyone get by. It's a simple life, but it keeps us busy enough.
