Sant Manas Bhushan Foundation

Sant Manas Bhushan Foundation is run out of House No. 34 in Ward No. 9, right over by Bharatghat. It’s a quiet spot, and that suits us just fine. We’ve been in this house for a while now, using the space to manage everything the foundation does. It’s not an office building with elevators or anything like that. It’s just a regular house in a regular neighborhood. We like it because it keeps us close to the people we are trying to help. Living and working in Bharatghat means we see our neighbors every day. The foundation started because we wanted to have a positive impact on the community around Ward 9. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or a big budget for advertising. Most of what we do comes from just showing up and putting in the work. Some days the living room is full of paperwork, and other days we are out and about in the ward. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it feels more honest than being tucked away in some high-rise. People know where House No. 34 is, and they know they can knock on the door if they need to talk. We’re just a small group of locals who care about this area. We take things as they come and try to handle the foundation’s business with as much common sense as we can. There is no point in complicating things when simple help is needed.
